Fookien Fried Rice
With everyone being acquainted to chinese restaurants, some of you or perhaps all of you have tried this dish or perhaps even heard of it. But to me this dish perhaps holds a special place in my heart. For this dish I attach a huge amount of memories into it, so it was really nice when a few weeks ago a friend of mine went to a place where my memories are most vivid. Located in the corner of E. Rodriguez and Thomas Morato is the restaurant called “Big Bowl” now they have a honiker to the name by adding plus.
“To live would be to eat” I sincerely believe in this quote as most of the things that we would end up doing will be eating for the most of our lives. One of the things that both me and my late father shared is that we simply just adore this dish. So as it was a real treat when me and my friend went there out of my whims to have a little taste of memories past. Me and him would always order for this dish with my family, even though it would probably end up me and him eating most of it. Even if the dish was totally different or the place has changed my memories are still there, which I am most grateful.
And to my friend, Mr. Fiel John Meria, who joined me I know its kinda late but thank you.
